Ummmmmmm…it’s pretty much been ages since I had a giveaway.
So, let’s have one.
The extremely nice folks over at 505 Southwestern contacted me with their new line of sauces/salsas.
Y’all…you know that I have a sauce/dip/anything that I can have on the side of my meal obsession.
So naturally, I freaked out when I opened up my package to find a box of these beauties:
I mean, seriously…this is pretty much the stuff that I dream about.
I immediately jolted open the bottle of medium heat green chile sauce.
This is unlike any jarred salsa I have ever had. For one, it’s super fresh and two, it’s ultra creamy.
The thing that I loved most about each sauce was the ingredient list. Wholesome, minimal, and natural, fresh ingredients.
Oh, and they are gluten-free w/ ZERO trans-fat.
But wait…they only use my favorite chiles of all time…Hatch Green Chiles from Hatch Valley in New Mexico.
Y’all…we need to show some love for this company.
This is what GREAT products are made of.
Plus, they are based out of Los Angeles, Ca and ya know I love me some California sunshine.
Here’s a bit of info. on each sauce:
505 Southwestern Roasted Green Chile: Our Roasted Green Chiles are picked, roasted and then flash-frozen right after harvest so we can deliver that just-picked freshness in each jar. We use roasted green chile, garlic salt and just the right amount of lime juice as a preservative. This simple ingredient blend delivers great flavor and is commonly used as a condiment with tacos, enchiladas, burritos, salads, tuna, eggs, burgers and hotdogs.
505 Southwestern Green Chile Sauce (medium and hot): Our Green Chile Sauce is our own special recipe and we won’t divulge all our tricks. What we can say is that each kettle we produce has the right level of green chiles, tomatoes, onions, rice flour (as a gluten-free binder), lime juice, garlic powder and salt. This is one of our best-selling recipe and saves hours of preparation for anyone that loves green chile sauce. It can also be used to sauté any protein for anyone that loves green chile sauce. It can be used to saute any protein for use in burritos, tacos, and quesadillas.
505 Southwestern Enchilada Sauce: Once again, we don’t follow the crowd. Instead of making our enchilada sauce with chile powder, we start with Hatch Valley red chile pods that deliver an intense rich flavor. We then add water, rice flour, lime juice, garlic cloves, oregano leaves and salt. Our Enchilada Red Chile Sauce is excellent when cooking with Mexican recipes including enchiladas and tamales or can be used to baste a chicken or steak. We guarantee that you can taste the difference in quality.
505 Southwestern Honey Chipotle Green Chile Salsa: As with everything else in our line, our salsa is unique. Driven by the desire to be different, we take pride in using green chile and excluding onions from our Honey Chipotle Green Chile Salsa. Also included are tomatoes, water, honey, chipotle flakes, garlic powder, jalapeno, salt and lime juice. We then combine these ingredients with sweet honey and smoky chipotle to deliver an exceptional Southwestern flavor. Use our salsa with chips, cottage cheese, seafood, baked potatoes and more.
